PEMF
therapy
Lying back while gentle electromagnetic pulses work deep into your tissue. No heat, no needles, fully clothed. Customers here tell us they get up looser and calmer than they lay down, and a good number sleep better that night. Many find it so relaxing they doze off, which is a fine way to spend half an hour.
What people notice
PEMF runs gentle, low frequency electromagnetic pulses through the body. What follows is what our customers report after a run of sessions, rather than what we can prove. The research in healthy people is still thin, and we would rather tell you that than dress it up.
- Pain relief. People who use it regularly report that discomfort and inflammation ease, and that they come back faster from a strain or a heavy week.
- Circulation. Most say they get a warm, worked-through feeling in whatever was tight.
- Cellular repair. Early research suggests the pulses act at the level of the cell. That work is in laboratories, not in people on a wellness bed.
- Stress. Customers here tell us they get up calmer and less wound up than they lay down.
- Sleep and energy. A good number tell us they sleep better that night.
- Bone health. In clinical settings, under medical supervision, PEMF has a real track record in bone repair: a 2020 review pooling twenty-two trials found bone healed more often with it than without. That is hospital care under a medical protocol, not a wellness session.
- Muscle recovery. Athletes use it between hard sessions and report carrying less soreness into the next one.
The people who book it most: anyone living with chronic pain, athletes between hard sessions, people who are stressed or sleeping badly, anyone working on their bone health, and plenty who simply want more energy in the week.
The session
Thirty minutes, and how you take it depends on what you walked in with. There is a full length bed if you want the field through all of you at once, a chair if you would rather sit, and spot applicators for when it is one particular area doing the complaining.
-
Lie down
Fully clothed, shoes off, blanket if you want one. The room is dim and most people put their phone down for half an hour.
-
The pulses
You feel them, strongest wherever you are already tight or sore, which is the thing most people notice first and are not expecting. Firm rather than sharp, and nothing to brace for.
-
Get up
Thirty minutes later you get up looser and more relaxed than you lay down, then carry on with your day.
- Not suitable with a pacemaker, defibrillator, cochlear implant or insulin pump

Questions
Is it safe?
For most people, yes, and it is not invasive. But there is one hard exception and we would rather be the ones who tell you: PEMF is not suitable for anyone with a pacemaker, an implanted defibrillator, a cochlear implant, an insulin pump or any other implanted electronic device, because electromagnetic fields can interfere with them. Say so before your first session. If you are pregnant, or you have epilepsy or a seizure disorder, check with your doctor first.
How does it actually work?
The equipment puts out low frequency electromagnetic fields, in the same family as the Earth's own natural magnetic field. The pulses go deep into the tissue. Early research suggests they act on circulation, on inflammation and on how cells produce energy, though that work is mostly in laboratories and in clinical settings rather than in healthy people on a wellness bed. The honest answer is that we know more about how a session feels than about why.
What does it actually feel like?
You feel the pulses, and they land hardest wherever you are already tight or sore. Firm rather than sharp. Most people say that surprises them, because they came in expecting to feel nothing at all.
Do I need to do anything to prepare?
No. Come as you are, leave your clothes on, take your shoes off. No togs, no shower, no towel. You can book it on a lunch break and go straight back to work.
How often do people come?
The ones who like it tend to make it weekly, usually stacked with red light or compression so the visit is worth the trip. There is nothing to recover from, so there is no reason to space it out.
